About The Boleyn Ground:

The Boleyn Ground, formerly home to West Ham United FC, was an iconic football stadium located in Upton Park, East London. Opening its gates in 1904 and closing in 2016, it was a historic venue steeped in footballing tradition.

Fondly known as Upton Park, the ground witnessed countless memorable matches, including West Ham's triumph in the 1965 European Cup Winners' Cup final. Its intimate atmosphere and fervent support earned it a reputation as one of English football's most intimidating venues for visiting teams.

The Boleyn Ground holds a special place in the hearts of West Ham supporters, who celebrated victories and mourned defeats within its hallowed confines. Although the club has moved to the London Stadium, the memories and legacy of the Boleyn Ground continue to resonate with fans, symbolising the rich history and heritage of West Ham United FC.
